The ancient temple is well known for this seasonal flower of Hydrangea and also for the family temple of that loyal Menjyu brothers, who sacrificed for their lord in the fierce battle of Shizugatake.
I was surprised and amazed to see a variety of colors of the flowers, quite different of the ones around the lake Yogo. This might be due to the chief priest and his wife’s devoted caretaking every day.
