Re: The “2nd” Long Rainy Season will be Over at Last!

They said that the long rainy season in Japan seemed to be over by the end of June,… record short! But, soon after the hottest sunny days continued, that humid and raining days have continued again. The weather in these several years, not only in Japan but also some region of the globe such as England seems to be quite weird.
We have rarely heard the chirring of cicadas this summer, and I have missed even that loud buzzing from the forests. But today, I found the summer insect at last, which was buzzing diligently on a cherry tree along the lake, …. though not so noisy but a bit lonely…..

A Platypleura kaempferi(ニイニイゼミ)

I found a larva of a cicada, too.
