We are in the midst of the Obon (a Buddhist festival to recognize ancestral spirits) holidays in Japan.
I’m now spending my own time peacefully, after visiting our ancestors’ grave. We don’t have to go far for relaxing ourselves in cool but crowded spots, since I live in a kind of a summer refuge. I especially like to sit on my favorite “That Bench” under the shade of trees. I feel I’m having a luxurious time to myself, when I’m seeing the lake, being blown in a gentle breeze and hearing a chorus of cicadas.
