Re: “Rosa & Berry Tawada”, an English Garden

It is said that the garden was opened in 2003 at the foot of Mt. Ibuki (伊吹山) in Maibara city of Shiga Pref. There are elaborately cultivated gardens, the beauty of which are varying seasonally. They also serve an open-air BBQ style restaurant, where we can taste the freshest vegetables that are just taken out of the farm.

Smelling the fresh floral fragrance, I walked 2 and half an hour around the whole area, from “Rose and Perennial Garden” to the real world of “Shaun the Sheep Farm” on the top of a small hill, including Craft and Baking Workshops and Petting Farms of sheep and ponies.

I think Roses are, to be sure, “Queen of flowers”,… it is like an artistic elaborate workmanship, with many kinds of charming colors, and above all it has ELEGANCE like a noble princess.

Pink Roses are so GRAND!
I’m so happy, being surrounded with Roses in full bloom
