Re: A Shower of Cherry Flowers at Nagaoka- Tenmangu Shrine (長岡天満宮の桜花吹雪)

The shrine, where Sugawara-no-Michizane is enshrined, is very near from the previous head office that I used to work. Since I’ve made it a rule for these 20 years to undergo a regular dental checkup at a dentist, I dropped by the good old shrine yesterday after I got it. Nagaoka-kyo is only 110 km away to the south from my hometown, but the cherry flowers there were already starting falling, though the buds have just started developing in my hometown.
