On the way back from a small business at a suburban city of Kyoto, I dropped by the temple which I often visited when I used to live near there. How many times have I come to the wide temple, I wonder? More than 15 times, I guess. I have come here with friend from Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, China, all of whom were my old friends of the subsidiary factories of the company I used to work. I also have come to this head temple of Zen Buddhist Monastery, with my Japanese coworkers and my wife, too. I like a sort of “dignified” atmosphere when I walk on the stone pavement there, especially in this winter season.
