Re: Rambling through the Intermountain Road between “Small Hamlets that Have Disappeared from a Map”

As my acquaintance kindly advised me the other day that autumnal landscape of some area, which already disappeared from a map faraway times is so nice in this season. Though it was almost cloudy, occasionally raining, so a bit chilly day today, I drove to the prefectural border between Shiga and Fukui, and then started walking, ringing a “bear bell” just in case not to encounter the wild animal. Miscellaneous kind of tree leaves on the both sides of the road have turned yellow, brown and red, and best matched with the mountain stream. (I felt a fair bit uneasy as I met not even a soul during the hiking.)
