When I was checking the SNS this morning, I happened to find the message I had posted just on today 13 years ago, which was about the reader’s column of the Newspapers. It was written about a beloved pet dog, which always appears on their wedding anniversary day.
I can’t help but get weepy whenever I read the article on Jan. 28 every year.
My message on Jan. 28, 2012:
I believe that some of my friends are pet lovers. Some like cats, some are friends with horses, and some enjoy with fish. I don’t have any pet now, but I was moved a lot to read a kind of Reader’s column in today’s papers. The pet was a dog. And the dog was narrowly helped by the writer when she was just 17, high school pupil. The dog became attached to her very much, since the kind-hearted young woman was a lifesaver for the dog. The dog seemed to think itself a human, but it was so shocked to see itself on the mirror that it couldn’t eat anything for a week, the writer says.
When she came back to her home, the dog used to first welcome her with the upper-most joy, wagging its tail as if it seems to be just breaking off. But day by day, the dog got old much faster than the kind woman. As her wedding day approached, she would tell the dog, please live long till you can look me in my wedding dress. But the dog gradually wasted away and finally died just on the wedding day. The writer says that the anniversary day always reminds her of Don, that beloved dog.
