Since I got the details for the credit card payments, I made the Pareto analysis. The total spending for the half-a-month journey (for my wife and I) is, as I’ve guessed so, rather high, exceeding 1,700,000 JPY!!
But, as my younger brother, Toshi, kindly paid the airfare (Round trip of KIX to LAX, LAX to LHR), which dominates no less than 39% of the total, the expenditure that I had to pay reduced to 1,050,000 JPY. And, as Toshi and our relatives (my wife’s side) had sent us big gift money, the payment has further reduced to 540,000 JPY, which means 270,000 JPY for a person!!! We have to say many thanks to all of their courtesy.
After the analysis, I was a bit surprised to know that food cost was not so high as I had worried. (Our first impression was the price at a restaurant rather expensive, comparing the ones in Japan.) What I was impressed a lot was the reasonable price of Taxi fares, almost of which was by using “Uber”. We were definitely not able to visit around so many spots without using “Uber”, the cost of which was just less than 30,000 JPY (the occupancy was only 1.7%)! We enjoyed a nice talk with a driver at each time, and they gave us a good advice, too.
The admission for some spots seemed to be rather expensive, e.g., 5,500 JPY/adult for Tower of London, but the ones for several big museums, such as The British Museum, The National Gallery, The Getty Museum were basically nothing.
I really think that the “Most Exciting and Thrilling Journey” deserved the cost, for too sure!

米国と英国のツアー支出のパレート分析
クレジットカード決済の詳細が送られてきましたので、掲題についてパレート分析をしてみました。 約半月間の旅費の総額（妻と二人分）は、予想通り170万円超え!! しかし、全体の39％を占める航空運賃（KIX→LAX、LAX→LHRの往復）を弟（Toshi）が出してくれたので、出費は105万円にまで大きく減りました。 そして、Toshiや（妻側の）親戚から多額のご餞別（や支援金）を送っていただいたので、支払額はさらに減って54万円、なんと一人当たり27万円となりました!!! 彼らのすべての厚意に深く感謝しなければなりません。
分析してみると、食費は心配していたほど高くはなかったので少し驚きました。 （当初はレストランの値段が日本と比べるとかなり高いというのが正直な感想でした。） そして、とても印象に残ったのは、タクシー料金（ほとんどUberを利用した）が、リーズナブル（思いのほか高額ではなかった）ことです。 費用は3万円弱（総額のわずか1.7％）！ 「Uber」を使わないと、これほど多くの観光地を巡ることはできませんでした！ 毎回ドライバーさんとの楽しい会話が楽しめ、彼らからはアドバイスもいただきました。
ロンドン塔の入場料は大人 ひとり5,500 円など、スポットによっては入場料がかなり高額なように思えましたが、大英博物館（イギリス）、国立美術館（イギリス）、ゲッティ美術館（アメリカ）などのいくつかの大きな美術館の入場料は基本的に無料でした。
確かに大きな出費ではありますが、今回の「ドキドキハラハラ＋ドギマギの米英旅行」ではその支払うべき代償より十分すぎる価値があったと思っております。
支出の上位は、①航空機代金（39%）、②両替（16%）、③ホテル（15％）、④交際費（9%）、⑤列車（7%）
