Kinomoto (木之本), Which Still Reminds Us of Many Travelers’ Coming & Going More Than 400 Years Ago

Kinomoto (木之本), the far north town of Ohmi domain (currently Shiga pref.), used to be geographically one of the important post stations on Hokkoku street in Edo Period. We can still find remnants such as Japanese sake breweries, old pharmacies, soy sauce shops, and old inns here and there when we walk around the small retro town.
